Barbizon, the perfect balance
This rental house weaves a subtle dialogue between raw materials and soft light, evoking heritage, roots and the future. The backdrop is the village of Barbizon, between art galleries and the national forest of Fontainebleau.
Just 1 hour from Paris, it's the perfect place to meet up with friends or family. In my opinion, it's the perfect place to combine the simple pleasures of a charming little village (bakery, cheese shop, grocery store...) with a real immersion in nature, with the nearby forest to recharge your batteries (or tire out the kids!).

I fell in love with Barbizon, its peaceful atmosphere, its narrow streets lined with workshops and galleries. A timeless escape.
Inside, the renovation is a success: quality fittings, fluid circulation, pleasant volumes and meticulous decoration.
As a lover of the 70s, I loved finding Mario Bellini's famous Camaleonda sofa, a candlestick by Nigel Coates, and the Atomium suspension designed by Hopf & Wortmann for Kundalini.
The raw materials are treated with care, and the sense of detail extends to the (finally) designer toilets by Trone.
In summer, take full advantage of the swimming pool, petanque court and terrace opening onto the garden.
It's a well-thought-out house, designer without being intimidating, where eight people can comfortably get together. It's the ideal place to share a moment together, in an inspiring, well-equipped setting just a stone's throw from Paris.
