1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the relationship between THE HOST, an online holiday reservation platform (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and any individual or legal entity (hereinafter referred to as "the Customer") wishing to make a reservation via the https://www.thehost.place website (hereinafter referred to as "the Site").
2. Service description
THE HOST offers a service that puts the Customer in contact with partner accommodation providers (hotels, guest houses, etc.) allowing online booking of stays. The Company acts as an intermediary and does not directly provide accommodation services.
3. Reservation
La réservation s’effectue en ligne via le Site selon les disponibilités indiquées. Le Client garantit l’exactitude des informations fournies lors de la réservation. Toute réservation vaut acceptation des présentes CGV.
4. Payment
Payment terms will be specified shortly.
For the time being, no reservation will be validated without prior payment in accordance with the conditions that will be put in place.
5. Cancellation and modification
Cancellation and modification conditions are currently being defined and will be communicated shortly.
They may vary depending on the partner accommodation providers.
6. Awards
The prices shown on the Site are in euros, inclusive of all taxes, and exclude any charges specific to certain accommodation providers.
The Company reserves the right to modify prices at any time, without however affecting reservations already confirmed.
7. Liability
THE HOST acts solely as an intermediary between the Customer and the partner accommodation providers.
The Company cannot be held responsible for the services provided by the latter, nor for any direct or indirect damage that may arise from the reservation or the stay.

9. Personal data
The data collected at the time of booking is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the Site.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Les présentes CGV sont soumises au droit français. En cas de litige, les parties s’efforceront de trouver une solution amiable avant tout recours judiciaire. À défaut, les tribunaux français seront compétents.
