Thirty minutes from the ocean
Located between La Rochelle, Royan, and Rochefort, La Ferme de Brouage is a carefully restored historic farmhouse nestled between the sky and the marshes.
A bright and peaceful retreat, designed as a contemporary country home, where guests can slow down and reconnect.
Here, time moves at a different pace. You rediscover the joy of foraging, cooking together, and gathering around large tables. With its vegetable gardens, herbs, and edible flowers, the farm invites you to reconnect in a simple, almost instinctive way.
The estate features five vacation rentals, accommodating 4 to 14 people, a large swimming pool, and expansive open spaces surrounded by nature.

This morning at 7:30 a.m., I watched them prepare the organic baskets ordered by Michelin-starred chefs and private customers—nothing excessive, just the right amount—with calm and precision.
Here, nature sets the pace: children learn to pick strawberries with both hands, and the kitchens invite you to whip up delicious meals with freshly picked vegetables… because yes, during your stay, you have free access to the spacious garden to harvest as much fruit and vegetables as you like.
My tip: Come with friends or a large family. Each group gets its own cottage, side by side, so you can enjoy meals, games, and drinks together… while still having your own space.
A different take on luxury: one that celebrates what is good, authentic, and vibrant. A place that reawakens in everyone the joy of connecting with nature. Thank you, Hahn-Claire and Antoine, for this estate that offers tranquility, open space, and a beautiful lesson in balance.
