About us

Perched on the hillside of a typical village in northern Finistère, La Butte is a place of connection and inspiration, deeply rooted in nature. Just a short walk from the sea and the wild beaches of Goulven Bay, the property is nestled in a landscape that overlooks the ocean horizon.

Conceived by Solène, the founder’s granddaughter, and her husband, Nicolas Conraux, La Butte embraces a vision: to harmonize with nature and redefine the art of hospitality. Here, guests will find a hotel, a wellness center focused on rejuvenation, a Michelin-starred restaurant, a café, and the village bakery—a place for gathering and fellowship.

Much more than just a place, La Butte is a people- and environment-focused initiative that reimagines the art of hospitality.

Welcome to La Butte.

A word from our hosts

“To be authentic, just like the women and men here.
Artisans, farmers, artists, therapists, craftspeople, culinary professionals, those who work with their hearts, those who work at sea… they all work alongside us to create a different model of society—one inspired by life, respectful of life, and in love with life.”

Solène and Nicolas

In Plouider, overlooking the Bay of Goulven, La Butte is a vibrant house deeply rooted in respect for the living world. Led by Solène and Nicolas Conraux, this place brings together gastronomy, well-being and a true sense of humanity. I return once a year, and each stay leaves me feeling restored.
