La Butte

Plouider

France

A truly charming hotel run by a passionate couple who are approachable and attentive to their guests. If I sound like I’m repeating myself, it’s because I believe this is what makes all the difference and gives a place its soul. The restaurant, which also holds a Michelin star, showcases the chef’s creative flair and offers a taste of Brittany’s culinary treasures.

Stunning mid-century decor that feels brand-new—a rarity in this part of France, where flashy styles tend to dominate. Here, too, you’ll find two restaurants at opposite ends of the spectrum: a Michelin-starred restaurant and a brasserie, with the latter offering a unique twist featuring Levantine influences, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The best part? It’s right on the water!

The Basque Inn

Saint-Jean-de-Luz

,

France

A simple, beautiful place—just the way I like it. Six rooms, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and a brasserie menu at lunchtime for more casual dining. The whole place is run by a passionate couple, the Béchades, who are approachable and attentive to their guests. That’s how it should always be!
