Gesa Hansen

Designer and architect

Gesa Hansen, the founder and designer of The Hansen Family and one of AD’s Top 100 Designers, shares her favorite spots for The Host

Gesa Hansen has recommended three spots for The Host—somewhere between the sea and the mountains—so you don’t have to choose

A German-Danish designer and founder of The Hansen Family, Gesa carries on her family’s legacy of designers and carpenters by creating solid wood furniture designed in Europe. Trained at the Bauhaus School and Nagoya University of the Arts, and later in the studios of Jean Nouvel and H5 in Paris, she is now ranked among the top 100 designers selected by AD. Gesa is the kind of woman you love to have by your side: radiant, inspiring, and generous.
