About us

Nestled in the heart of the Vézère Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Les Grands Chênes is a family-run guesthouse with four rooms. Conceived by the family and brought to life by the architects at Sapiens Architectes and Atelier Leymarie for the interior design, the building stands out for its large floor-to-ceiling windows that invite nature inside and offer a seamless connection to the landscape. In this contemporary setting, elegance, simplicity, and respect for the environment come together. Every morning, a homemade breakfast celebrates organic and local products. A swimming pool completes the experience, ideal for recharging after a day of sightseeing. Located near the Lascaux Caves, Sarlat, and Les Eyzies, the property serves as a prime starting point for exploring the region.

A word from our hosts

"A place designed in harmony with nature. Our guesthouse offers you a timeless experience—an intimate immersion in authentic, inspiring nature."

Nathalie

In the Vézère Valley, Les Grands Chênes is a family-run guesthouse where nature is ever-present. Designed by Sapiens Architectes and Atelier Leymarie, it blends clean lines, fine materials, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Nathalie and her children envisioned a place that reflects who they are: sincere, welcoming, and open to the forest. I loved its genuine simplicity, the beauty of the setting, and the light that changes throughout the day. It’s a place where you feel at home immediately.
