About us
Villa Ortensa, in Hossegor, is a home designed for barefoot living, nestled between a lake, the ocean, and a pine forest. Completely renovated in 2025 under the artistic direction of the MEWS agency, it blends the Landes heritage of the 1960s with a warm, contemporary atmosphere.
Here, days often begin on a surfboard and end around long tables in the garden. The house exudes a simple, warm charm: bright spaces, natural materials, objects chosen with care, and nods to family life. It is a sincere, joyful retreat where you can take the time to slow down, gather together, and come back! A very intimate and modern take on the art of living in Hossegor.
