About us
Located 1 hour from Bordeaux and 3 hours from Paris, Villa Gardénia is situated in the heart of Arcachon’s “Winter City.” Built in 1892 and fully renovated in 2025, this iconic residence—a symbol of Arcachon’s heritage—combines old-world charm with the comfort of a contemporary guesthouse.
Designed for exclusive use, it welcomes families, groups of friends, and seminars in its 8 rooms with private bathrooms and its spacious living areas. Outside, a large, tree-lined garden with a pool, sauna, and fire pit with a griddle extends the experience, offering views of the pine forest and the elegant 19th-century villas.

The Winter City, the Dune du Pilat, and the Banc d'Arguin; the Cap Ferret Peninsula with its oyster-farming villages, its ocean beaches, and its lighthouse.

Oysters from the bay at home or at Chez Bidard in Gujan Mestras. The white dunes at Chez Pascal or the cannelés from La Toque Cuivrée—two iconic sweet treats.
TO SHOP
At the Aiguillon deli, everything is delicious and beautiful; Castaing’s is the best butcher shop in the region; and the flan bar at the Pirelons bakery.
