About us

Nestled within more than 100 hectares of listed terraced gardens, Santa Ponsa is a historic 17th-century estate in the heart of Menorca. Carefully restored, it blends architectural heritage with the Mediterranean art of living. Its spa, housed in the former cistern, invites guests to enjoy a comprehensive wellness ritual—unique on the island—while the organic vegetable garden and citrus orchards provide the ingredients for a generous, sun-kissed cuisine. Swimming pools, a hammam, and evenings in the gardens round out this gentle celebration of Menorcan well-being.

ROOMS

LODGES

Its 22 rooms and suites are spread across the main house, the former barns, and standalone cottages. Their decor blends colonial influences, rattan lounges, and winter gardens, all set against a palette where green is the dominant color.

A word from our hosts

"Let yourself be swept away by the most beautiful gardens in the Balearic Islands; Santa Ponsa is nestled in the center of the island, close to beaches and archaeological sites. A historic residence that honors the traditions and cultural heritage of Menorca. I love it when guests feel at home, offering them luxury that isn’t ostentatious, but rather respectful, warm, and authentic service."

Nicolas

Santa Ponsa Menorca, part of the Fontenille Collection, offers a haven of absolute tranquility. With its terraced gardens, a spa nestled in a former cistern, and a solar-powered kitchen sourced from the vegetable garden, everything here invites you to slow down and reconnect with yourself. An elegant and comforting wellness retreat, it’s the perfect destination for a child-free getaway, where time finally seems to stand still.
