About us

This former silkworm farm is located in the beautiful and peaceful historic village of Berrias-et-Casteljau, in southern Ardèche. It is situated right at the starting point of a magnificent hike that takes you through the famous Bois de Païolive and to the Corniche du Gorge de Chazzesac. And just a stone’s throw from major tourist sites such as the Vallon de Pont d’Arc, the Chauvet Cave, and the Aven d’Orgnac. Berrias is a 10-minute drive from Les Vans, a lively, bohemian town with renowned restaurants, including one with a Michelin star. A village house, featuring an inner courtyard shaded by an old fig tree, a small shed next to it, vaulted cellars, and a beautiful heated pool to top it all off. Here, peace and beauty go hand in hand.
