About us
Nestled in the heart of the Loir-et-Cher countryside (45 minutes by TGV from Paris / 2 hours by car), Repère Sauvage is a lively hotel and restaurant, welcoming guests of all ages—from children to adults, families to couples, locals to visitors from afar. Forests, meadows, valleys, and a pond, a mini-farm, a 22-meter pool, bikes, a zip line, a slackline—42 hectares of lush grounds stretch out around the main manor and its 16 rooms. In the heart of the forest, some twenty lodges perfectly encapsulate the philosophy of the place: “discover to rediscover.” A true haven of wonder for everyone.

"Repère Sauvage was born out of a desire to create a vibrant space open to everyone: young and old, city dwellers and country folk, couples, friends, and families. A place where everyone would feel at home, a dynamic space that encourages connections and new discoveries. At Repère Sauvage, our philosophy is rooted in the idea that 'Let’s live happily, let’s live curiously,' and we’ve strived to create a true haven of curiosity."

In the heart of the Loir-et-Cher region, Repère Sauvage combines a historic manor house set on 42 hectares of forest with 16 rooms in the manor and 20 eco-friendly lodges nestled in the woods. We love this rare blend of immersion in nature and a connection to a living place brought to life by its ancient stones. Everything is designed with families in mind: a kids’ club, an educational farm, a swimming pool, bikes, outdoor games, and a handy grocery store. A true favorite where everything is on-site, plus the convenience of being less than an hour from Paris by train.
