About us

Neither a hotel nor a guesthouse in the traditional sense, pieuX is a place to experience, shaped by an eye for detail, the simple beauty of materials, and that rare attention to the small gestures of daily life… In Montreuil-sur-Mer, nestled within the ramparts, the rooms at pieuX offer a unique hospitality experience, blending intimacy with a sense of space. Designed like a lived-in home, they welcome travelers into a calm and sensitive atmosphere, rooted in village life yet open to the light and the changing seasons. Each space—from the winter garden to the living room with a fireplace, from the attic bedrooms to the ground-floor alcoves—tells a different story of how to savor the moment: reading, resting, sharing a drink, listening to the silence…

LODGES

La Couchette unfolds in a series of interconnected spaces: you enter through a small boudoir, pass through the bathroom, and then the alcove reveals the bed like an intimate, cozy stage. La Traversin, spacious and monochromatic, bathed in light between the city and the garden, faces the bath and offers a reading nook for escape. La Cachette leads through a secret passage to a narrow, intimate aquatic green cocoon, featuring a walk-in shower and a sunken tub. La Sous-Toit, nestled under the eaves like a small apartment, is spacious and inspiring—ideal for creating… or simply resting for hours.

A word from our hosts

"PieuX is a 19th-century townhouse located at the foot of the ramparts, in the heart of Montreuil-sur-Mer. It is currently occupied and we are delighted to welcome you. It features spaces for socializing and communal living: the living room, the breakfast room, and the winter garden. The living room: the heart of the home, inviting you to unwind in front of the period fireplace or share a coffee over a game of chess; the breakfast room: like a cozy, bright little morning bistro; the winter garden: a place of light, greenery, and warmth with its masonry concrete hearth and raw steel hood."
