About us

The Southway Pavilion is a typical 19th-century Marseille residence located in the heart of the Mazargues neighborhood, at the gateway to the Calanques. Since 2020, it has been transformed into an art-house created by Emmanuelle Luciani, a living space where creativity is everywhere. The Pavillon is neither a traditional exhibition space nor a simple artist’s residence: it is at once the beating heart of Southway Studio, its very core, and a work of art in its own right. Emmanuelle is its creator; she defines the Pavillon as a “domestic project”: a space in constant evolution that gives form to her thoughts, her research, and her work. In short, the Southway Pavillon is a work of art in its own right created by Emmanuelle Luciani: a unique place where art is not merely viewed but experienced.
