About us

Surrounded by olive trees and rice paddies, Montinhos is an intimate, family-run estate located in the Alentejo region of Portugal, spread across two white houses. The property features Casa da Cima, a home for four people with a living room, kitchen, and two bedrooms, as well as three double rooms (Patio do Loureiro, Patio da Romaneira, and Canteiro), each equipped with a kitchenette and a private garden in the second house.Inspired by Mediterranean patios, these spaces offer a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by local plants, a pool overlooking the rice fields, and the shade of olive trees. Here, the days are gentle, spent reading in the sun, strolling through the estate, and playing pétanque at sunset.

ROOMS

Nestled among rice paddies and olive groves, Montinhos features two white houses: one serves as a family home for four people, while the other offers three double bedrooms, each with a kitchenette and a private patio. Each space has been designed as a retreat open to nature, surrounded by enclosed gardens, local vegetation, and soothing views of the Alentejo countryside.
