About us
Nestled atop a hill, surrounded by vineyards and century-old trees, Maison Groleau is a hidden gem near Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, and Blaye. Passed down through the family for nearly two centuries, it has been reimagined today with guest rooms and a table d’hôte designed by Guillaume and Pierre-Louis. Spacious rooms, eclectic decor, and a bright atmosphere come together to create a unique setting, designed for relaxation and well-being.

Less than 15 minutes from the house, visit Blaye and its UNESCO-listed citadel.
Don’t miss the region’s major historical site: the Pair-non-Pair Cave (managed by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux), one of the oldest decorated caves in the world.
TO TASTE
A lively atmosphere is guaranteed at the Belle-Amie la Petite Soeur open-air café, a dinner at Cuisine et Dépendances, and a wine tasting at one of the many local vineyards.
TO SHOP
Go bargain-hunting at "Quai des Brocs" in Bourg, pick up a good mystery novel at the "Sur les lieux du crime" bookstore in Bourg, and admire a stunning mosaic by "Atelier Babylon" in Plassac.
