About us

Just two hours from Paris, in the heart of the Perche Regional Nature Park, Maison Ceronne reimagines the contemporary country home: a haven of art and living set amid 70 hectares of lush greenery, where design, nature, and hospitality come together. With a farm-to-table dining experience, indoor and outdoor pools, a movie theater, karaoke, a fitness center, and horses grazing in the meadows or housed at Les Paddocks stables—an integral part of the property—the experience blends fine dining, wellness, culture, and the good life. A unique destination, designed for recharging your batteries or celebrating, whether alone or with others.

TO VISIT

La Chapelle-Montligeon, an incredible church—almost a cathedral—that seems to have been built in the middle of the fields. The Chapel and Cloister of Saint François in Mortagne-au-Perche, fascinating in its beauty. The entire town, in fact, is brimming with historically fascinating buildings. The Jardins du Montperthuis, about twenty minutes from Maison Ceronne, a remarkable garden in the Perche region, designed in 2010 but already magical.

TO TASTE

Jambon Beurre, in Mortagne-au-Perche, is a great spot for a quick lunch after the Saturday morning market. La Table de Maison Ceronne, of course, for lunch but especially for dinner, featuring home-style cooking, a menu that changes every night, and tables lit by 150 candles. Paysage in Bellème, known for its sophisticated cuisine. La Maison d'Horbé in La Perrière, for its unique vintage decor.

TO SHOP

Cire Trudon candles, made in Mortagne-au-Perche, are sold in the village shop. Galerie Rateau, in La Perrière, for its curated selection of 1960s and 1970s design. La Savonnerie de La Chapelle, in Bellème, for its handmade soaps. Maison Close, also in Bellème, as well as Chez Les Voisins, in the same small town, for their selection of vintage pieces.

A word from our hosts

“We’ve seen time and again that true hospitality begins where service ends. Maison Ceronne isn’t a hotel; it’s a remnant of our tradition of hospitality from when we used to welcome friends to this unique home set on 70 hectares in the Perche region. Here we practice the delightful art of organized idleness: breakfast until 11:30 a.m. (no shame), a prolonged soak in a steaming Nordic bath (contemplation mandatory), an impromptu visit to our hundred horses (one-way conversation permitted), evenings by the fire or at a table where the menu is reinvented daily according to the mood of the vegetable garden. Starting this summer, a café will complete this chronic inability to leave the premises. We are the first to be guilty of it.”
