About us
La Perroya is a village house in the heart of the charming and little-known old village of Visan, in the Enclave des Papes. A little slice of Vaucluse in Drôme Provençale, the village is ideally situated between Vaison-la-Romaine, Nyons, and Grignan.
During your stay, you’ll have access to the shaded courtyard and its saltwater pool, perfect for cooling off. On the ground floor of the house, you can enjoy the living room, its library, and its fireplace on long winter evenings.
From the first floor, a walkway leads to the large panoramic terrace, which is perfect for enjoying a long sunset over the Rhône Valley.
Breakfast is usually served in the courtyard during the warmer months and, when the weather is cooler, at the large table in the living room.

TO VISIT
Visit historic villages like Séguret or Grignan. Explore the Provençal markets in Vaison-la-Romaine and Nyons, or the truffle market in Richerenches during the winter. Hike in the Dentelles de Montmirail or the Baronnies Provençales. Visit pottery villages such as Dieulefit or Vallaurie. Go snowshoeing on Mont Ventoux in the winter.
TO TASTE
Truffles from the Richerenches Truffle Market. Sample wines from the many small-scale winemakers of the Rhône Valley. Dine in a small village bistro, on a square surrounded by a fountain and plane trees.
TO SHOP
Lavender distilleries, Marseille soaps at the markets, the Scourtinerie de Nyons and its scourtins and ombrières, and a designer lamp at Maison Modeste in Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes.
