About us

Located in Normandy, La Maison Plûme is situated in a charming little village between the Seine River and the forest. Less than two hours from Paris, and 45 minutes from Honfleur, Le Havre, and Étretat, the house is ideally situated for exploring Normandy. All this in a village that’s still somewhat off the beaten path, even though Victor Hugo (and his museum, located just 50 meters from the house) once stayed here. Walks or bike rides, great restaurants nearby, and absolute tranquility are just a few highlights of your upcoming stay—whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, kids, or your dog...

ROOMS

LODGES

Of the 5 rooms in the house, 3 offer a view of the Seine. The Brume and Nid rooms are spacious rooms that can accommodate 4 and 3 guests, respectively, and feature a view of the Seine. The Amour room is a double room with a view of the Seine and a private terrace. Two more intimate rooms—Parisienne and Douce—will be your cozy retreat. Finally, the cabin, just a three-minute walk from the house, will be your little home away from home in a bucolic setting, with a view of the Seine through its floor-to-ceiling windows.

A word from our hosts

"Everything at Maison Plume is designed to make you feel right at home, so you can live and relax however you like! Step behind the bar, put on a vinyl record, and play bartender for the evening. Dine at one of the town’s gourmet restaurants one evening, then enjoy the village pizza with a fine bottle from our selection, sitting on a bench facing the Seine. The next day, borrow one of our bicycles to go to the market, hike in the forest, come back, and choose a cup of tea by the floor-to-ceiling windows, still facing the Seine, watching the boats go by—and that’s it. This is the rhythm that guides life here."
