About us

Galopina is a guesthouse located near Mérida. It was designed to inspire, reconnect us with our roots, and allow us to be embraced by nature. Time stands still at Galopina, where life follows the rhythm of the sun, but also of rainy days and starry nights. Above all, like any Mexican home, Galopina loves to welcome old and new friends alike. Located 35 km from downtown Mérida, the house is surrounded by the Yucatan jungle, in the heart of the Cenotes State Reserve. Galopina is close to haciendas, archaeological ruins, cenotes, and on the route to the towns of Izamal and Valladolid. Galopina enjoys a prime location for a vacation dedicated to unplugging, exploring, and total relaxation.
