On the unspoiled island of Sifnos in the Cyclades, Apsila Pool Suites overlooks the port of Kamares from the island’s hillside. This “adults-only” boutique hotel features just five suites, designed as private sanctuaries opening onto the sea and the surrounding nature. The minimalist architecture blends into the rocky landscape, while each private terrace, complete with a pool or hot tub, invites you to simply do nothing. Behind this hidden gem lies a family story: Mary, Yiannis, and their loved ones created Apsila to share their island just as they love it, with sincere Greek hospitality that attends to every detail. Here, you wake up to the blue of the sea, let the afternoons slip by doing nothing, and slip into the water just as the sun sets. A Greek paradise.

From Apsila, explore Sifnos’s must-see attractions: the Panagia Chrysopigi Monastery overlooking the sea, the Acropolis of Agios Andreas for its spectacular views, and the traditional Cycladic villages and secluded coves accessible on foot or by bike.

In Sifnos, Greek cuisine takes center stage. Have lunch at Manolis, with your feet (almost) in the water in Vathi, or book a table at the intimate Cantina or Pelicanos. In the evening, take advantage of your fully equipped kitchen to prepare a local dinner to enjoy on your private terrace as the sun sets.
